Connect. Learn. Transform.

We are excited to announce that Joanne McCallum will moderate a panel discussion at this year’s CaGBC National Conference. The conference, themed Building Lasting Change, runs from May 30-June 1  in Vancouver.

Joanne will lead the discussion with Kevin Stelzer from B+H, Steve Kemp from RDH and Tony Cupido from Mohawk College. This leadership team is the driving force behind the design of the Joyce Centre For Partnership and Innovation, a cutting edge facility located in Hamilton, Ontario.

Mohawk College is a leader in sustainability, and the broader community. The college’s new Centre for Partnership and Innovation is the Canadian pilot project for the CaGBC Zero Carbon Buildings. The project, has been driven by a net zero energy budget and garnered national attention including that of The Joyce Family Foundation and the federal government. This presentation will demonstrate how the project team navigated the challenges of this mandate within an accelerated schedule to qualify for the federal government’s April 2018 funding deadline.

For over 20 years, sustainability has been at the core of mcCallumSather’s mission. As such, we are also pleased to act as a Morning Sponsor at  this year’s conference, welcoming delegates from across the country to the The Net Zero Carbon Buildings Summit.
