Construction is moving along on the Niagara College NextGen Greenhouse.

This cutting-edge facility will drive advancements in applied research and student learning within the Horticultural & Environmental Sciences Innovation Centre (HESIC).

The greenhouse, dedicated solely to research, features five controlled bays, a clean lab, vertical grow room, horticulture laboratory, meeting room, office, and backup generator. Designed for energy efficiency, it maximizes solar gain with high-performance materials and incorporates sustainable heating methods, including a boiler plant set up for renewable natural gas.
