The architecture division at mcCallumSather has remained relentlessly focused on achieving our clients’ goals from the firm’s inception nearly 25 years ago. From renovation to new construction, small community initiatives to multi-million dollar builds and one-of-a-kind projects, we are guided by a commitment to design excellence and sustainable solutions through an Integrated Design Process.
We fluidly navigate between design and engineering disciplines. As a result, we are known for delivering highly coordinated documents and thoughtful, innovative projects of the highest quality. We offer a range of services which fall under our architectural, mechanical engineering and interiors divisions. Explore mcCallumSather’s Architecture Portfolio
Our directors have cultivated a team of nearly 50 professionals who are energetic, inquisitive and unpretentious. They recognize and appreciate the complementary strengths of others. The result is a commitment to a collaborative, inclusive approach.
In addition to architectural expertise, we offer mechanical engineering, interior design, heritage consulting, master planning, programming, LEED facilitation, and project management services.
Architects based in Hamilton
Our firm is headquartered in Hamilton, located at the iconic Westinghouse HQ. The architectural division has assumed a leadership role in building sustainable spaces designed to advance social, financial and environmental objectives.
Our clients trust our vision and as a direct result we are able to boast many industry firsts — most recently The Joyce Centre for Partnership & Innovation at Mohawk College, Canada’s largest net-zero institutional building. This adds to our history as architect on the first LEED Gold Certified building under the CaGBC and the City of Hamilton’s first LEED certified project Woodward Environmental Labs.
Even if we are not working towards a LEED-certified project, we integrate the principles of sustainability into all that we design.
Having completed many projects in Kincardine over the years we opened a sister office to better serve the surrounding area in 2017.
Projects completed in Bruce County include the Miller Insurance Office Building, Princes Street Condominiums and Queen Street Condominiums. We are currently working on residential, corporate and heritage projects in the Kincardine region.
As a mid-sized firm, we offer high-quality, one-on-one service. We are selective in the projects we accept, allowing us to give dedicated, individual attention to each client.
