Hosted by the CaGBC Greater Toronto Chapter, the Spring Open is the first networking event of the year, highlighting innovative green buildings around the GTHA.  

Joanne McCallum, CEO and Christina Karney, Associate at mcCallumSather were invited to present on the heritage conservation and retrofit of the iconic Westinghouse HQ project. A testament to Hamilton’s industrial past, Westinghouse HQ is an iconic seven-storey building located in the Gibson neighbourhood. Constructed in 1917 and heritage designated in 1988, the building is now restored to Class A offices with modern sustainable systems and finishes, while remaining true to the original accents and distinctive feel.

The event will is taking place at Artscape Daniels Launchpad in Toronto and will kick-off with CaGBC member-exclusive tours. It will continue with networking, complimentary drinks and food, followed by the Building Blitz – 6 rapid-fire presentations highlighting the newest and most sustainable buildings in Southern Ontario.
