Project Architect – Healthcare Design

Reporting to and under the general supervision of the firm Principals, the Project Architect will fulfill an essential role in the office by working alongside the firm Principals to oversee healthcare and research projects from design thru construction. This role involves working directly with clients, consultants, designers, and technical teams to prepare the necessary documents for the project. In addition, it requires active engagement within the firm to promote the culture and engage positively with all staff members. Establishing, nurturing, and maintaining client relationships is a key component of this position as well as facilitating the promotion of the firm with outside individuals and agencies. 


Senior Technologist

Through their experience & leadership, the successful candidate will work with a highly motivated team capable of enthusiastically providing high-quality documentation, focusing on quality not quantity. As a senior team member, they will actively work on select projects and act as a mentor to our intermediate and junior technical team members, developing our team’s core competencies in technical design, building science and BIM. Reporting to and under the general supervision of the Production Document Lead, the successful candidate will fulfill an essential role in the office by working alongside the technical team and the project managers/project architects. The professional in this role will oversee the preparation of contract documents using Revit to ensure a high level of quality, coordination, and compliance with the firms’ standards.


Mechanical Designer/Engineer

Playing an important part in the Design Team, the Intermediate Mechanical Designer/Engineer is a team player with the ability to receive and execute instructions from the Senior team members or Project Manager with general supervision. The Intermediate Mechanical Designer/Engineer will prepare drawings of existing building systems and prepare drawings for renovations and new construction of moderate complexity based on verbal instructions, sketches and/or formal documents. The position also requires performing heating & cooling load calculations, preparing plans and other drawings for construction, performing inspections of existing facilities to determine and verify existing systems and details, and utilizing design equipment and technology.


BIM Manager

The role requires both technical and management skills, knowledge of architecture, building elements, building details, specifications, and construction methodology. The BIM Manager will maintain and enhance the firm’s established standards of model generation, detailing and coordination across all disciplines using Revit Autodesk software. The BIM Manager will be capable of understanding and mapping the whole process and content of design by coordinating the disciplines and modelers. It is a key consideration to understand how the parts fit together and bring integrity to the design disciplines. Interest and knowledge of plug-in and companion software are desired.
