Michelle Austin has been with mcCallumSather since its inception in 1996, with over three decades of experience providing oversight in quality control, quality assurance, field review and sustainable design. Acting as the Managing Principal, Operations, Michelle leads the development of project teams, scheduling and oversight of project delivery for its diverse portfolio of work and has been instrumental in many of mcCallumSather’s award-winning Net Zero and LEED Certified projects.

Still directly involved in projects, she largely focuses on education, civic, healthcare and residential projects of all size and scale. Working with project teams, she offers profound knowledge of building technology, drawing documentation, and sustainable design principles. As a mentor, her peer review and input into the design and construction process informs high quality documentation and advances the education of the firm’s architectural, engineering and interior teams.

Michelle is a LEED Accredited Professional with the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) and Architectural Technologist with the Association of Architectural Technologists of Ontario (AATO).
