282 MacNab Street North Condominium

The proposed design for 282 MacNab Street North is an exciting, 10-storey, 89-unit mixed use condominium that will bring more life to the City’s emerging North End. Working with the owners, St. Jean Properties Inc. and Durand Development Corporation, our team took a light and limited heavy industrial site and are transforming it into a 75,300 SF housing opportunity.

Adjacent to West Harbour GO Station and within close walking distance to the downtown core, 282 MacNab Street North is set to be comprised of a one-storey podium, including a shared lobby space, parking, which ramps below grade, and a 10-storey condominium tower consisting of level two, which includes interior and exterior amenities.

Our team spent over a year listening to the community within public consultation, responding with changes that responded to what we were hearing. We increased parking, changed the setbacks, reduced the height of the tower from 12 to 10 storeys, reduced the number of units from 100 to 89 and added bicycle parking, optimizing the tower to suit the needs of the growing community. The City of Hamilton Planning Committee recently approved the project, which is now moving to City Council.
