The Canada Green Building Council is a not-for-profit, national organization that has been working since 2002 to advance green building and sustainable community development practices in Canada. The CaGBC is the license holder for the LEED green building rating system in Canada and supports the WELL Building Standard and GRESB (Green Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark) in Canada. We are active members of the CaGBC, and have taken a leadership position on its Board.

YOUNG ARCHITECTS + DESIGNERS OF HAMILTON

The Young Architects of Hamilton (YAH) is a group of young Architects, Architectural Technicians, Interior Designers and other design professionals who live and/or work in the Hamilton area. YAH’s focus is to represent and promote the young and aspiring members of the architectural community in Hamilton. By facilitating conversations about how architecture and its many related fields can influence a community, YAH aims to help build up Hamilton’s bright future.

Established in 1913, the Hamilton Burlington Society of Architects (HBSA) is comprised of members and affiliates from the local architecture community. The Hamilton HIVE is a not-for-profit organization who strives to create a hub that provides resources and support for emerging leaders and Young Professionals. HIVE is made up of 22 Member groups across various fields and interest groups from architecture, healthcare, and media.

MCMASTER INSTITUTE FOR MUSIC AND THE MIND (MIMM)

The McMaster Institute for Music and the Mind (MIMM) is an interdisciplinary group of researchers including psychologists, neuroscientists, music theorists, musicians, dancers, media artists, mathematicians, kinesiologists, health scientists, and engineers. This institute brings together science and the arts in a unique and innovative way, with the goal of enhancing the scientific study of music across Canada and internationally. We are actively engaged with promoting this goal by having an active seat on the campaign fundraising committee.

HAMILTON CLUB

Founded in 1873, the Hamilton Club is a vibrant hub of business, but yet is primarily a social institution. In addition to housing one of Hamilton’s finest art collections, the Club is a hotspot for dining, business meetings, and social events as it regularly houses lectures and workshops. We are active members of The Hamilton Club’s Board of Directors and Past-Chair on the Arts and Archives Committee.
